Naturopathy is healthcare that starts with a simple question: why is this happening, not just what is happening?
Rather than treating symptoms in isolation, we look at the whole picture — your nervous system, gut, sleep, stress and history — because everything in the body is connected. Your gut talks to your brain, your nervous system influences digestion, and chronic stress can change how your body functions.
It’s also about looking upstream. Naturopathy considers the dysfunction happening now, including those “something feels off but my labs are normal” experiences, with the goal of supporting optimal health before things escalate.
Naturopathic care combines traditional healing wisdom with modern clinical science. It’s evidence-informed, personalised and focused on understanding the bigger picture — not simply managing symptoms forever.
Where relevant, I use functional testing and pathology to better understand what’s happening inside your body, so recommendations are based on your results and your story, rather than assumptions.
And “prescriptions” don’t just mean supplements. Depending on what we uncover, your plan might include herbs, supplements, nutrition, lifestyle changes, or small rituals that help bring you back to yourself and support your nervous system along the way.
-
Naturopathy may support you with areas such as:
Digestive health and gut function
Energy and fatigue
Stress and nervous system support
Sleep and rest
Hormonal and menstrual health
Skin health
Immune and general wellbeing
Nutrition and dietary support
Healthy lifestyle and sustainable habits
General wellbeing and preventative health
Your care is individualised, so we’ll look at your symptoms, health history, lifestyle, nutrition and goals rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach.
Where something is outside the scope of naturopathic care, or would benefit from further medical assessment, I may recommend working alongside your GP or another appropriate healthcare professional.

The naturopathic principles are basically the philosophy behind naturopathy — the ideas that guide the way we look at your health, make decisions and support your body.
They’re not a rigid set of rules. Instead, they remind us to look beyond symptoms, understand the person as a whole and work with the body rather than simply against it.
The principles are:
The Healing Power of Nature — Vis Medicatrix Naturae
Your body has an incredible capacity to heal, adapt and restore balance. My role is to support that process and create the conditions where healing can happen.Identify and Treat the Cause — Tolle Causam
Rather than simply putting a bandaid over symptoms, we look a little deeper. What might be contributing to what you’re experiencing? Sometimes the root cause isn’t where the symptom shows up.First, Do No Harm — Primum Non Nocere
Choose approaches that are safe, appropriate and proportionate to your individual needs. More intervention doesn’t necessarily mean better care.Doctor as Teacher — Docere
Good healthcare should leave you feeling more empowered, not more dependent. I want you to understand your body, your options and the why behind the recommendations I make.Treat the Whole Person — Tolle Totum
You’re more than a collection of symptoms. Your physical health, nutrition, digestion, sleep, stress, emotions, lifestyle and environment can all influence how you feel. We consider the bigger picture rather than looking at each piece in isolation.Prevention — Preventare
We don’t have to wait until something becomes a problem before we pay attention to it. Supporting health and resilience now can be just as important as addressing what’s already happening.
In plain terms: I’m not here to “fix” you. Your body isn’t broken. My role is to listen, look at the bigger picture, work out what may be getting in the way and support your body with the tools it needs to move towards better health.

The therapeutic order is basically the roadmap naturopaths follow to figure out where to start — and it's a big part of why we go foundations-first instead of jumping straight to supplements.
The idea is simple: start with the least invasive, most foundational stuff, and only move further "up the ladder" if you actually need to. It generally looks something like this:
Remove what's in the way of healing — obstacles like poor sleep, chronic stress, an unsupportive diet, or a dysregulated nervous system. If these aren't addressed, nothing else works as well as it should.
Stimulate the body's own healing ability — the body is remarkably good at healing itself when it's actually given the chance to. This step is about creating the conditions for that.
Support and restore weakened systems — nervous system, gut, hormones, immune system — whichever areas need extra support to function properly.
Correct structural imbalances — making sure the body's structure supports rather than hinders healing.
Use natural substances to restore function — this is where herbs and nutrients tend to come in, once the groundwork is laid.
Use natural substances to address pathology — more targeted natural intervention, when needed.
Use pharmaceutical or synthetic substances — for when a situation calls for it.
Use surgery — the most invasive option, reserved for when nothing else will do.
In plain terms: we don't skip to step five or six just because it feels more "official" or exciting. We start at the foundation, because that's genuinely where the most sustainable change happens — and honestly, a lot of people never even need to go much further than that.

Before your session
Before we meet, you’ll complete a short intake form covering the basics about your health, symptoms and what’s brought you here.
It’s simply a starting point — you don’t need to have your whole health story figured out. We’ll explore the details together.
During your consultation
This is where we start connecting the dots.
I’ll take you through a full body systems history, looking beyond the symptom that brought you in and exploring things like digestion, sleep, stress, hormones, energy, mood, nutrition and lifestyle.
I’ll ask plenty of questions, but this is a conversation, not an interrogation. I want to understand you — what you’ve experienced, what you’ve tried, what’s changed and what your body might be trying to tell you.
Sometimes the little things you’ve never thought were relevant are the pieces that make everything else click.
After your consultation
This is where a lot of my work happens.
Your personalised treatment plan will be sent within 7 days. I take this time to review everything we’ve discussed and research the evidence and clinical information most relevant to you.
I don’t believe in throwing a handful of supplements at you and hoping something sticks. I’d rather understand why I’m recommending something, what it’s there to support and how it fits into the bigger picture.
Your treatment plan
Your recommendations or prescriptions will be provided digitally, with products ordered directly and delivered to your door.
Your plan isn’t set in stone. As we learn more and see how you respond, we can adjust things along the way.
And then… we keep going.
Your health doesn’t have to be perfectly linear. If questions come up between appointments, we can check in, make adjustments where appropriate and keep building from there.
My goal is for you to leave each appointment feeling clearer about what’s going on, more connected to your body and supported in taking the next step.

A note on cost:
I know these numbers can look like a lot at first glance. But the consultation itself is only part of the work.
I bring over a decade of nursing experience alongside my naturopathic training, combining clinical knowledge with a whole-person approach.
After your consultation, I spend hours reviewing your history, connecting the dots and researching the evidence and clinical information relevant to your individual presentation. I don’t believe in copy-paste protocols or throwing supplements at you and hoping something sticks.
You’re investing in the clinical expertise, research and personalised thinking that goes into understanding your body, not just managing your symptoms.
-
Naturopathic care is an investment in your health, and I understand everyone’s budget is different.
Your initial consultation is where we take the time to understand your health history, symptoms and goals and create a personalised plan.
Ongoing costs vary depending on your needs and may include follow-up consultations, supplements, herbal medicines or functional testing. Not everyone will need supplements or testing, and I’ll always discuss recommendations and costs with you first.
My goal is to create a plan that supports your health without adding unnecessary financial stress — something that feels realistic and sustainable for you.

I’ve been told I’m “too casual” for a clinical setting — throughout my nursing career and even during my time as a student naturopath.
And you know what? I think that might just be my edge.
I’m a real person, not a white coat reciting a script at you. I’ll crack a joke, laugh with you and tell you when I don’t know something rather than pretending I do. I want you to feel comfortable being completely yourself from the very first session.
I don’t believe in sitting above you with a clipboard, handing down instructions about your own body. This is a partnership. You know your body better than I ever will. I bring the clinical knowledge, research and an outside perspective, and we figure the rest out together.
I also trust my intuition — much of which comes from my nursing background. Years in clinical settings teach you to notice patterns: something you see or hear that makes you pause and ask another question. It’s not guesswork; it’s pattern recognition built through experience.
So our sessions feel more like a conversation with someone genuinely in your corner than a clinical appointment. No judgement, no talking down to you, no pressure. Just two people working together to better understand your health and find a way forward.
Whether we’re together in person or connecting from your couch via Telehealth, I want you to leave feeling heard, empowered and good about yourself — never smaller.

Real talk: you can't out-supplement or out-herb a poor foundation.
Before we even get into protocols or products, we need the basics sorted. Not because they're boring admin stuff to tick off — they're actually the whole game:
Sleep — this is when your body does its repair work. No amount of supplements can substitute for it.
Nutrition — your body needs the raw materials to actually function.
Connection — to yourself, to other people, to nature. We're not built to heal in isolation.
Mindset & mental health — how you're thinking and feeling isn't separate from your physical health. It's part of the same picture.
Nervous system safety — this one's huge. Your body genuinely cannot heal if it doesn't feel safe. You can take all the right herbs and supplements, but if your nervous system's stuck in survival mode, none of it really sticks. Safety has to come first.
Movement — not punishing yourself at the gym, just enough to support your body without draining it further.
Here's the honest bit: this might mean you get a treatment plan with no products at all. And that's on purpose. If your foundations aren't sorted yet, piling supplements on top is basically just burning your money — and I don't want to do that to you.
It's so easy to fall into the "this one supplement is going to fix me" trap. I get why — it's an appealing idea. But it's rarely how it actually works. Proper, lasting well-being isn't a product you buy. It's the foundations underneath it.
And honestly, the goal is for you to not need me forever. That's what actual sustainable wellbeing looks like — and it starts right here, with getting these basics in place.
